I notice that North and South has appeared twice already. This is a wonderful book and if you have not seen it already, I can thorougly recommend the BBC version of this. Quite excellent and Richard Armitage as the Mill Owner is, well watch it and see for yourself....
I bought the book after I saw the BBC adaptation (the last scene is just *melts*) but I never got around to finishing the book. So I'm going to try finishing it this time :)
